RCCO began working with Blue Bell Creameries in 2006, a year shy of their 100 year history. The brand has long been noteworthy for their high-quality ice cream, and for their years of iconic advertising.
In 2020 Blue Bell Ice Cream and RCCO worked together to produce TV and radio spots, social media, digital strategy, and website updates to bring Blue Bell to a new generation.
When they approached us for help with their social media, we knew Pinterest was a perfect platform to reach their target audience.
Our goals were to give fresh ideas to Blue Bell fanatics and ultimately drive more sales. By sharing recipes that sync with holidays, we were able to link fans back to the website.
Blue Bell’s Pinterest followers increased 10-fold between Halloween and New Year’s Day. The campaign had over 430,000 impressions and added thousands of additional users to the site each month.
With a series of traditional print media placement, broadcast radio and TV spots, and the larger introduction of Blue Bell’s website, RCCO helped push the expansion of markets, as well as the creative.
